I knew going in that this was a beginner class, even though I have been into photography for many years. I wanted to start with a baseline class, and then continue with more advanced classes, which is the reason that I signed up. For the beginner this was a very good class. The instructor was very approachable, informative, and made sure that all questions were answered, and was very patient with assisting other class members in setting up their cameras. The instructor covered all of the basic components of photography and did a really good job with the class.

Mmachi was very informative and patient with me, since I did not have an updated Nikon camera. She let me use her Cannon camera, and I throughly enjoyed the class.

Lafayette College had a few early-blooming Japanese Cherry Blossoms that I wished to photograph. While taking a leisurely stroll through the historic district of downtown Easton, I was struck by the picturesque view of College Hill across Route 22. I patiently adjusted my camera settings while waiting for traffic to clear, and finally, a moment presented itself when I was able to stand in the middle of the road to capture this shot.Sony a6600 (1/200 F8 ISO100) with a Tamron 18-300mm lens @ 76m

During the Blue Hour it wasn't looking good for a great sunset, but as if got closer to 8:00pm the light changed and the then bright and colorful sky was reflected on the still surface of the pond producing nice reflections. It pays to stay!Shot on Canon - f/6.3, 1/100", ISO 250.

Just when we thought it was all over... an inch of heavy, wet, April snow fell overnight, making everything beautiful again! Cattails are fun to photograph in the autumn colors, but the winter blues and whites added an exceptional color contrast to the scene. Taken at f/5.6, 1/250", ISO 100, 400mm in Lords Valley, PA at McConnell Lake.

I was riding on the train on my way to downtown to make some street photography shots, when I got off the train I saw those diagonal, horizontal and vertical lines directing my eyes to a black point where there wasn?t anything at this moment, and I thought: Sometimes the decision we want to make has a direction, a very well laid out path like this lines, but it doesn't really lead us anywhere.

This bright little robin landed on a lichen-covered branch in my garden on a rather dull day. I used a fast shutter speed and a wide aperture to isolate him from the background.Nikon D610, Nikon 28-300mm 1/1000 sec f/5.6 Auto ISO 1800

Location: Upper Glen Alpine Falls. I hiked to this location after sunset. The foreground is a single photo I took during the blue hour for clarity and sharpness. I couldn't wait for the Milky Way at this location due to high bear activity it was almost dark by the time I hiked back to the car. The Milky Way picture is a stack of 19 frames for noise reduction, taken a few hours later over Lake Tahoe, which is just a few miles away from the falls.Edited in Luminar Neo.

This shot was taken on my first day into this trip. My wife and I decided to spend Labor Day weekend in the mountains which was wonderful but also very busy which isn't the best for wildlife photography. However, I did come away with some good shots from my outing (mostly landscape) and this is by far one of my favorite. I love how the light is striking the deer's face while he is mostly shrouded in shadow. I took this with a Nikon 200-500mm @ 500, 1/160s, ISO 100 and f6.3. I shot this across th

Was out looking for anything to photograph on one my few days off from work. So I went to the plot of land where I deer hunt. Any wild flower that may still be in bloom, insects, things like that. Tons of grasshoppers everywhere and I came across this fella. I didn't realize he possibly had a wounded left wing until I processed the photos. No wonder he sat thru many different angles, exposures, and me getting up in his face and didn't offer to fly off.
